Titan Water: Titan n120, the Tankless Water Heater

I drink a lot of water - out of tanks and bottles of course. But my girlfriend has bought something (priced $ 230 "cheap"!) which she technically described as a "Titan n120," an apparently amazing Tankless Water Heater. My first thought was "if there's no tank, where do you get the water to heat?'). Opps, Bad call, men will be men.

As curious as this Titan water thing was, I decided to find out what can carry no water but has a facility that heats it. Come on, we men are great with cars, fixing them and the stuff but not water and its associated content, for Gosh sake!

Anyway, here's what this "Titan n120" looks like:
Titan n120
So what is this Titan Water thing?

Well, as the names suggests the Titan n120 is a tankless water heater unlike the "normal" tank-and-heaters we use at home. I went through the product's manual and it says that the Titan "continually heats water instantaneously". It seems that the Titan is one of the most popular and highly-recommended home appliances.

The copper/brass chambers that form the water tank is apparently "extremely resistant to hard/mineral water", according to the manufacturers. The copper/brass chambers in the tank make the heater resistant to mineral deposits and hard water, reduces oxidizing acids and corrosion.

More info from my girlfriend:

According to my girl, the water heater is one of the most popular products a proper woman can buy. I checked out ebay,, amazon and a host of independent suppliers and almost all of them seem to have the Titan n120 among their best sellers.

More info from GF: You can install the Titan water heater anywhere - except outdoors (*shock*) - where there is an electric socket and a supply of water to heat and the appliance is easy to install. BUT not by YOU - you need a professional to install it for you - the reason is, the device involves the use of electricity.

Phew, so much for Titan heaters and girlfriends :)

Apple to reportedly stop supporting 32-bit apps with iOS 11

In a bid to remove problem apps and to focus on quality, Apple will stop supporting 32-bit apps with the release of iOS 11 later this year, meaning that many legacy applications will no longer function at all. "Starting with iOS 10.3, Apple has started alerting users when they open a 32-bit app on iOS. The pop up notification reads that the app must be updated by the developer or else it may not work with future versions of iOS," tech website 9to5mac.com reported on Monday. The tech giant started supporting 64-bit applications with the launch of the iPhone 5s in September 2013. The company also asked developers to submit new apps with 64-bit support since February 2015 and app updates starting June 2015. Last month, Apple has officially released iOS 10.3 update that has major updates regarding its newly launched AirPods, WiFi calling and SiriKit. Other minor updates include new security features and a new cloud section under the Apple ID Settings menu. The new section shows ...
