Idea Blade & Idea ID 280: New 3G Android Smartphones

Two new 3G Android Smartphones called Idea Blade and Idea ID 280 have been launched by Idea Cellular. A feature that would have users celebrating is that the two Smartphones come pre-installed with Idea’s 3G applications. The price of Idea ID 280 is Rs. 5,850 while the price of Idea Blade is Rs. 7,992.

For Indian users, service packages for the two mobile phones have data services worth Rs. 3,500 with Rs. 259 pack that offers free subscription to Idea TV for 3 months, 1 GB of data downloads per month for 3 months and 3G Double benefits for 6 months and Talktime of Rs. 25, says Fone Arena.
The package is available to both prepaid and postpaid users of Idea. Both the Idea Blade and Idea ID 280 run on Android 2.2 (FroYo).

Idea ID 280The Idea Blade comes with a 3.5-inch capacitive touch screen display and is powered by 600MHz processor; 3.2 MP Camera, 3G HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, GPS, FM radio and MP3 Player, WiFi, Bluetooth, 150 MB internal memory that is expandable up to 32GB with Micro SD Card. Social Media Apps such as Facebook, Twitter, Orkut, browser Operamini, and pre-loaded Google and Youtube and Idea TV.

These phones would be available at all major mobile retail stores and Idea outlets across all major cities in India.
