Low-fee 85% LTV deals from Accord Mortgages


‘Cheap’ Mortgage Products for under- £150,000 borrowers  

Accord Mortgages is launching a range of 85% LTV mortgage products for those looking to borrow less than £150,000. The low-fee range includes two-year tracker rates from 3.39% with a £495 fee, and two-year fixed rates from 3.64% with a £495 fee.

The package includes 5-year offset products from 4.79% with a £995 fee, as well as products with incentives such as free legals and valuations.

Accord says it has launched the range in response to broker feedback requesting specific products to cater for the small loan section of the market.

Steve McAvan, group intermediary manager for mortgages at Accord, says: “Following a successful pilot of low-fee low-loan size deals earlier this year, our lending partners expressed an interest in similar products available at higher LTVs.

“Our 85% LTV deals are just the latest in a range of product launches designed to cater for the needs of broker clients. This year has seen the pilot of the hybrid tracker-to-fix deals developed in partnership with our lending partners, which are now part of our core range, as well as the launch of offset and remortgage versions.”

Apple to reportedly stop supporting 32-bit apps with iOS 11

In a bid to remove problem apps and to focus on quality, Apple will stop supporting 32-bit apps with the release of iOS 11 later this year, meaning that many legacy applications will no longer function at all. "Starting with iOS 10.3, Apple has started alerting users when they open a 32-bit app on iOS.
