Sony Xperia V: Top Features...and Water Resistent!

Remember the time you took your beloved cell phone to the bathroom and it went for a swim? You may want to check out Sony Mobile's latest member of the Xperia family - the super fast LTE HD Xperia V smartphone. Sony claims the latest generation 1.5 GHz Qualcomm mobile device is water-resistant . Just the perfect phone that's so smart t can even swim - virtually I mean. No, the phone doesn't come with fins.   The full-HD Xperia V is probably one of the fastest models from the Sony stable. The latest generation Snapdragon S4 dual core 1.5 GHz processor takes the multimedia user's experience a notch higher. What the device assures you is a "flowing" streaming functionality for videos, app downloads all with the speed of an LTE mobile device. I'm not sure this has anything to do with swimming but don't worry we'll come to that. Let's check out it main features.  120 g 4.2 ounces 129 x 65 x 10.7 mm 5.1 x 2.6 x 0.4 inches Talk time (

Nokia Lumia 822 Verizon: Full Specs and the interesting features

Nokia's Lumia 822 (Verizon) is being touted as the "most versatile Lumia" model till date. I'm not really sure how much longer would the Lumia series hold up against the current market wave of iPhone 5 or the even 'slightly strong market opponents' such as the Samsung SIII (or Samsung S3) models or the Sony Xperia mobile phone series. Nonetheless, I have no doubt Nokia came up with an interesting hit with the Nokia Lumia.  The company continues to feed on this hit by listing out endless Lumias. Just like Sony Mobile is doing with its endless Xperia this and Xperia that.  The Lumia 800, Lumia 900 and Lumia 920 are quite popular devices (iPhone 5 remains the boss though) and I think the cell phone touts at the mobile device makers have another fairly big hit in the form of the Verizon Lumia 822 - a moderate, mid-high segment mobile device that is scheduled to hit the US and Asian markets (especially India, probably the biggest mobile phone market on the As

Windows 8X and Windows 8S by HTC: Overview, Specs and Price

You may now celebrate these new Windows 8 smartphones by HTC. Expectation-reviews of the Windows Phone 8X and Windows 8S by HTC seem good and shall definitely have you guys celebrating the swankiest, super-tech windows 8 phones in the recent times. HTC is certainly not giving in the market to the iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy SIIIs, Lumias or Xperias without a fight. And the Windows 8X and Windows 8S definitely seem good contenders if you preview them before the devices are released in October.. The two Windows 8 smartphones have some nifty features you'll be interested in (BTW, what does the 'S' in Windows 8S stand for? Probably it means 'System' or well, borrowed from Samsung Galaxy S3 to market-ize the mobile devices). Anyhow, here is an overview of the 8X and the 8S, its main features and price:. The Windows 8X by HTC has an ultra-wide-angle front-facing 5MP camera which means you can cozy up wonderfully for your Facebook self-portrait pho

Xperia J specs: specs, price and overview of Sony's slim android

(See below Sony Xperia J's US, UK and India prices) The Xperia J is the latest in the long line of Sony Mobile's alphabetically-challenged Xperia series. The latest Sony android device is a middle-low-end smartphone that comes with 'normal' specs and is currently slatted only for the United Kingdom. USA and India will have to wait. The release date for the mobile phone is expected to be announced soon for release in the market. For starters the cell phone comes with a 4-inch display, a big internal storage of 4GB, an okay-5 megapixel camera and a new audio feature called the xLOUD Experience-audio filter technology.  The Sony Xperia J is basically a 'middle-segment' in the Xperia series (the big brother being the Xperia S, Xperia, ion and the Xperia SL). The mobile device comes in black, white, pink and gold. Here are Xperia J's specs      Camera and video 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and Auto focus VGA video recording, 30 fps Front facing

Sony Xperia SL: Overview of SL's main features

Sony Mobile's Xperia smartphone series is starting to confuse me - Are you going to use only alphabets for name for everything else too? I love the name 'iPhone 5' or 'Samsung S3' or 'Nokia Lumia 920' (man, I love the name 'Lumia'). Sony isn't relenting on Xperia, however, and has now brought in the Sony Xperia SL - another HD, fast android smart phone that is banking on its HD functionality and high photo imaging features promised by its big 12 Megapixel camera. The SL is said to be certified as having the sharpest HD display of the entire Xperia series smartphones.    The Xperia SL has brought back the original WALKMAN app. I'm thinking that the sudden interest in old classics like the Sony Ericsson Walkman w995 forced Sony to incorporate popular features in the more advanced android models. The Xperia SL comes in the colors pearl, black, pink and white.    For starters, the Xperia SL has High-Definition 4,3” Reality Display whic

iPhone 5: Specs and Price

iPhone 5 is the keyword for now. I mean thousands of reviews have been written and specs declared even before the mobile device was even announced by Apple Inc. That's too much any cell phone and specs watcher can tolerate, don't you think? Well, the latest iPhone is worth it though. The smart phone device is already released and so are its specs. Let's spare you the reviews, overview and general intellectualism that has gone into (and will go into it even more) and here are the nice specs of the already-iconic iPhone 5 I got from combing Apple's cell site. Enjoy.
