Sony Xperia M2 Dual SIM: The New Fast Double Six Slinger

The new Sony Xperia M2 is one of the fastest androids from the Sony shelves. The Smartphone is dual-SIM and comes with a crisp 8 MP camera equipped with the groundbreaking Exmor RS™ mobile image sensor and Auto scene recognition. You may now go take your best selfies for Facebook. The android device runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor and can run multiple apps simultaneously without having to experience lags; the cell phone has shorter loading time and streams beautifully lag-free videos. The advanced processor gives you maximum performance and speed without draining the battery. "The processor is asynchronous, which means each core is powered up and down independently. Samsung's premium Galaxy S5 pitches in for the youth

Samsung’s latest high-end android Smartphone, the Galaxy S5, is on Virgin Mobile now. The American carrier has announced the Galaxy S5 to be its flagship for a social initiative called the ‘RS* Generation’ which seeks to help at-risk and homeless youth by providing them better opportunities. Virgin Mobile Canada and Virgin Unite are collaborating on the RE*Generation to help “at-risk and homeless youth get a step up and provides them with better opportunities.” For every RE*Generation phone a customer purchases, Virgin Mobile will make a $15 donation to “help the younger generation get off the street, provide stable accommodations, and assist in scoring a job,” according the mobile carrier. “This movement raises awareness about how Canadians can help at-risk and homeless youth. It is committed to creating new opportunities and support for at-risk and homeless youth across the country to help youth emerge out of the cycle of homelessness,” Virgin Mobile states in its mission s

The only UC Browser version that works on Samsung Wave 525 (Bada OS)

It's been about 4 years since the Samsung Wave 525 was launched. When it came out in 2010, it was one of the best mid-segment "smartphones" that hit the market. How many momentous, technologically-superior smartphones have come and gone since the Bada OS Wave?  The 525 must now feel like a dinosaur - and it is. In terms of its web browser, the most troublesome dinosaur ever. Prior to using the Samsung Wave, I'd used several other phones and none gave me any problem when using the internet as did the 525.  Browsing experience had never been so much a problem unlike the one the 525 gave me since i bought it three years ago. The various versions of UC Browser , a nifty little mobile browser that was touted to be the "fastest browser" for mobile phones that time, was the choice of wave 525 users. The only problem? In a world where every app and gadget was either android or windows, none worked for Bada OS (Samsung's own operating system). The Sams

Useful iPhone Accessories 2014 (and they are cool too!)

Oh, all right. You have probably come across internet software or web goodies promising you the best experience since buying your iPhone. Some are so weird you’d probably think they couldn’t possibly be useful in the first place. No way are you not going to hunt for a bargain on impractical gadgets. Choices everywhere, eh? Think Again. I am not talking about the top-sellers, or the best application handlers for the good old Smartphones. I am talking about the coolest yet entirely practical, helpful iPhone accessories you ever saw – or needed. For reasons of convenience, mobility, contextual application, technology, and of course for pleasure, these are the top gadgets in my list.     Some of them here total winners. Some are plain weird, but highly practical. Some are cute. They all share a ‘specification’ though: all of them are practical, reliable and highly esoteric gadgets and accessories, I assure you. They will make you stand out from the apple crowd.  Check these new g

Moto E: Specs, Price and First View of the best 'budget' smartphone yet

Google-owned Motorola has launched its new android Smartphone, the Moto E, as a follow-up to the hugely popular Moto G . Boasting a 4.3-inch display, the new mid-high-segment ‘budget’ android Smartphone runs on 4.4 KitKat OS and comes at $129 (without carrier contract, see UK and India price below). For starters, the Smartphone is decent on functionality like its popular predecessor Moto G, and is big on storage here. The E boasts of a huge 4GB internal storage, and – if you are a data junkie – a MicroSD bit that can support 32GB expandable memory. In terms of imaging functionality, I would not really advise you to be optimistic. The Moto E’s camera is not so much to celebrate about if you insist on sharp selfies. The device has only a 5-mega pixel rear camera, but that is more than a decent set of megapixels if you compare it to phones like the older Samsung Wave series, for example. The Samsung Wave suffered from nothing more than 2-3 megapixels. That was seriously sad.

Top-selling iPhone Accessories 2014 – from Cool Tech to Cute Cats

Are you America’s ultimate iPhone accessory junkie or are you a Neanderthal hunting for android rabbits under the rock? Either way, if you own a Smartphone (assuming you have upgraded from the DynaTAC8000X ), you will find an adventurous inspiration to visit your gadgets store for one of the following top-selling iPhone accessories. On normal days, I am content with downloading apps by the hundreds. However, when I am in a good mood, I buy everything from phone stickers to danglers to headsets to anything that looks even remotely like an appendage for my Smartphone. Oh, I barely use them. Some of them here, like the Plantronics Voyager Legend Bluetooth headset, are one of the top selling products for the iPhone 4, iPhone 5, and the iPad 3 thanks to its high-end audio functionalities. Others are not so much for their functional capability as for aesthetic appeal – like the delightful Tabby Cat Anti-Dust Earphone Jack Plug Cap (I will get one each for my sisters). In any c

Xperia Z2: The Smartphone with the “world’s best” camera and battery?

The soon-to-be-released-worldwide Xperia Z2 from Sony Mobile is being touted increasingly as the android Smartphone you ought to get your hands on.  While I am aware that marketers have great PR teams that make ugly, and “dumb” mobile devices look like they were the best thing that happened to technology. In this case, though, I’m really interested in Sony’s latest android device. For starters, it comes with the right features – and by ‘right’, I mean it has got three of what every phone user wants in his device – super HD and anti-blur imaging, superfast processor and long battery life.  Sony unabashedly claims that the Xperia Z2 is the “world’s best camera and camcorder in a waterproof Smartphone.”  The Xperia Z2's a real beauty if you consider its skin Price The android device is expected to be released May, 2014 – this month. And what is its price? UK Price: £545 approximately (without contract) US Price: $ 600 approximately (witho
