Samsung’s latest high-end android Smartphone, the Galaxy S5, is on Virgin Mobile now. The American carrier has announced the Galaxy S5 to be its flagship for a social initiative called the ‘RS* Generation’ which seeks to help at-risk and homeless youth by providing them better opportunities. Virgin Mobile Canada and Virgin Unite are collaborating on the RE*Generation to help “at-risk and homeless youth get a step up and provides them with better opportunities.” For every RE*Generation phone a customer purchases, Virgin Mobile will make a $15 donation to “help the younger generation get off the street, provide stable accommodations, and assist in scoring a job,” according the mobile carrier. “This movement raises awareness about how Canadians can help at-risk and homeless youth.
