Sony Xperia Z2 to zing with new Michael Jackson album 'Xscape'

Alright, I’m not sure if you are a fire starter on the dance floor but Sony is offering an entire music compilation comprising Michael Jackson’s previously-unreleased works, with the mobile giant’s new Android mobile device, the Xperia Z2. The Xperia Z2 is no big a price if you are into performance-driven specifications.

For instance, with superior imaging and photography features, strong, super-fast performance and a substantially potent battery life, the device is being touted to be one of the best in the recent times. No wonder, the mobile company is pushing its retails with the late pop superstar’s new album.
Sony Mobile is offering Michael Jackson's album 'Xscape' free with the Xperia Z2
Besides the Z2, Sony Mobile customers of the Xperia Z2 tablet and the Xperia M2 will be able to download the new album (free) through the Xperia Lounge app.

I checked out Sony Mobile and they mentioned the following clause as one of the conditions for mobile customers who want to download the album: “This promotion is only valid with the purchase of Xperia™ Z2 and Xperia™ Z2 Tablet. Redemption requires Xperia Lounge app, and Privilege Movies 2.0 applications, both available on Google Play.”

For those of you who have no clue to this whole musical mobile business, ‘Xscape’ is the second posthumous compilation of previously unreleased tracks by Michael Jackson. The album is set to be released through MJJ Music and Epic Records on May 9, 2014. This is the second time the Jackson Estate is releasing MJ’s works in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment. Of course, Sony is in it, which explains company’s offering of the Xperia Z2 with the entire album, no price to pay for it if you buy the device.

The posthumous release will include eight previously unreleased songs, including 'Slave To The Rhythm' and title track 'Xscape', according to Digitalspy.co.uk. According to the website, the full track list in Xscape is:

1. 'Love Never Felt So Good'
2. 'Chicago'
3. 'Loving You'
4. 'A Place With No Name'
5. 'Slave To The Rhythm'
6. 'Do You Know Where Your Children Are'
7. 'Blue Gangsta'
8. 'Xscape'

So here’s a bit about the Sony Xperia Z2

Pretty, huh? The side ports and controls on the Xperia Z2
Sony is claiming that the Android device has the “world’s best camera and camcorder in a waterproof smart phone.” That is quite a hefty claim considering that most of us know about what the Samsung galaxy Note or warhorses like the LG G2.

But wait, when Sony makes a tall claim they usually deliver it, sometimes. The device comes with a 4K camcorder and a 20.7 MP camera, combined in a Smartphone. The device comes packed with a plumb 20.7 Megapixels camera and a sensor that’s 30% larger than most smart phones in the market have.

And the Xeperia’s camcorder?

The Xperia Z2 combines 4K video capture with a large 1/2.3(1.10cm) 20.7 MP Exmor RS for mobile image sensor, Sony’s award-winning G Lens and the intelligent BIONZ™ for mobile image-processing engine. The unique combination means the Xperia Z2 has the same quality and performance as a real compact digital camera.

The result is images that are delivered with a superior sharpness, clarity and brightness – always. I will update you as the tech specs keep coming. I will keep you posted on the price too. Thank you for visiting.

The only UC Browser version that works on Samsung Wave 525 (Bada OS)

It's been about 4 years since the Samsung Wave 525 was launched. When it came out in 2010, it was one of the best mid-segment "smartphones" that hit the market. How many momentous, technologically-superior smartphones have come and gone since the Bada OS Wave?  The 525 must now feel like a dinosaur - and it is. In terms of its web browser, the most troublesome dinosaur ever. Prior to using the Samsung Wave, I'd used several other phones and none gave me any problem when using the internet as did the 525.  Browsing experience had never been so much a problem unlike the one the 525 gave me since i bought it three years ago. The various versions of UC Browser , a nifty little mobile browser that was touted to be the "fastest browser" for mobile phones that time, was the choice of wave 525 users. The only problem? In a world where every app and gadget was either android or windows, none worked for Bada OS (Samsung's own operating system). The Sams...

Overview of Sony Ericsson W995: The Little Walkman

The Sony Ericsson w995 Walkman is a relic from the glorious collaboration of Sony Corp and Ericsson. Yet, the  'Walkman' slider phone, released in 2009, remains one of the most popular mobile phones in the market today. An overview of the phone will give us amble reasons why even mobile phone reviewers still cannot beat the little device down, even in this age of the Xperias and the iPhones. Here is an overview of the  main features and specifications of this hardy little Sony Ericsson flagship phone. Overview: The Sony Ericsson w995 is a "Walkman" Slider phone. When it was released in 2009, the device offered probably three of then-biggest features to mobile phone users - a then-unheard of 8.1 Megapixel camera, 8GB Memory Card and 3G - one of the first pre-3G era phones that came with a 3G network band. My guess on the reasons for the phone's popularity is users' relentless hunger for big MP cameras. Only high-ends such as the Xperias, the Nokia Lumias and...
